What is Bioboost (B12/MIC) Fat Burning Injections?

Just a few of the other names of the Bioboost injection are the skinny shot, B12/MIC, Lipo-B and the fat burning injection. It is comprised of:

  • M.I.C (methionine/Inositol/Choline) -Works to metabolize fat cells and assist in the elimination of stored fat deposits in the liver and body.

Who shouldn't get Bioboost injections?

Bioboost injections are contraindicated in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. For breastfeeding mothers, we recommend B12 without the amino acids. It should not be given to those with an allergy to cobalt or an allergy to B-12. It should not be given to those with high vitamin B12 levels.


 How is the injection given?


This is an intramuscular (IM) injection (in the muscle) that is self-administered into the front of your thigh. If someone is administering the shot for you, it can be given in the upper arm. The injections are administered twice a week. We will send you a video that shows how to give yourself the shot/injection.


What are the side effects?

Most side effects of Bioboost are generally mild and typically lessen within a short time frame following administration. Common side effects may include:

Pain or redness at the injection site

Itching or a feeling of swelling all over the body

Muscle cramps & weakness

Upset stomach & urinary problems

Swelling in the ankles or feet

Unusual tiredness
